  • Collaborating with educational and medical professionals to determine appropriate recommendations for a student's IEP;

  • Assisting families in getting appropriate special educational services for their children;

  • Attendance at IEP meetings;

  • Attendance at 504 meetings;

  • Attendance at Resolution Sessions;

  • Negotiations with school districts;

  • Preparation of letters – to school district, evaluators, etc.; 

  • All aspects of mediation and/or due process proceedings; 

  • Supporting students with all types of disabilities; and

  • Representing students in most districts in New York State, with the exception of Nassau, Suffolk and Dutchess Counties,                         where I serve as an IHO.
